Mission & Vision

Our mission is to create a two-sided network that serves:

  1. As a platform for digital entrepreneurs, offering support for launching and growing their business venture with a fair distribution of equity among all stakeholders.
  2. As a one-stop shop for organizations in Belgium seeking sustainable digital services.

For now, we are focused on the Belgian market to validate our mission and values. In the long term, we aim to expand our approach across Europe and beyond.

Values

We believe in fostering collaboration among ambitious, like-minded digital experts to create opportunities for growth and a sense of belonging. This approach leads to stronger support, deeper personal commitment, and higher productivity.

We are committed to sustainable partnerships with our clients, aiming to be a reliable, long-term partner with direct, transparent collaboration between clients and the actual digital experts delivering the services.

We’re convinced that these values are best realized through a fair distribution of profits and ownership among our team members, rewarding and motivating them. By minimizing sales costs and other overhead, we can offer clients the best possible value for their investment.

Brand

Our brand name and logo are inspired by one of nature’s most powerful symbols of teamwork and efficiency: the V formation used by migrating birds such as geese and cranes.

These birds fly in a V shape to conserve energy. The lead bird—typically the strongest or most experienced—cuts through the air, creating a slipstream that helps the birds behind it. Each bird positions itself just right to catch the uplift from the one ahead, reducing wind resistance and making the long journey easier for the entire group. It’s a perfect example of how working together can take you farther than going alone.

The “V” also represents victory—a nod to the success that comes from smart collaboration.

This idea reflects exactly how our platform works: digital experts come together in organized teams, which we call Flocks, to efficiently deliver sustainable services to our clients.

Team

Founder

Flocks.digital is an initiative by Kristof Lievens:

In 2004, I founded Integr8 Consulting (i8c), with the support of a major Belgian IT systems integrator & incubator. As a young IT specialist, I wanted to establish a company of application integration experts, ensuring that the experience and knowledge gained from each successful project would not be lost. I never imagined that 20 years later this would result into a successful cluster of companies, employing over 100 passionate individuals who work with organizations across various sectors and industries in Belgium. It’s an experience I am truly grateful for. It taught me how to motivate people by collaborating around shared interests and incentivizing them through minority equity ownership.

With flocks.digital, I aim bigger, bringing together all the digital expertise a customer can wish for, provided by a community fostering close collaboration and introducing a more flexible shareholder structure.
